Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and dynamic part-time Photographer to join our team in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. This role is ideal for someone passionate about photography, especially in the real estate and vacation rental market. You will work closely with our project manager to capture high-quality images of properties, both interior and exterior, and contribute to creating captivating virtual tours, videos, and other forms of media. Training and skill development opportunities will be provided, making this an excellent chance for those looking to grow their expertise in professional photography and drone operation. This position requires a self-starter with the ability to manage their schedule and transport themselves between locations efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Real Estate and Vacation Rental Photography: Capture high-quality interior and exterior photos of homes for real estate listings and vacation rental properties, adhering to company standards for excellence.

Drone Operation: Utilize drone technology to capture aerial photos of properties, following all local regulations and safety standards. This requires a keen eye for capturing compelling angles that showcase the property's layout and surrounding area.

3D Virtual Tour Creation: Produce virtual tours of properties using specialized software and equipment, providing an immersive viewing experience for potential buyers or renters.

Image Management: Upload images to our designated drive on the same day of the shoot, ensuring all files are correctly named and organized according to project requirements.

Photo Quality Assurance: Ensure all photographs meet our quality standards, with attention to angles, composition, and the overall presentation of the space. This includes selecting the best shots for editing and final delivery.

Equipment Preparation and Maintenance: Responsible for preparing all necessary photography equipment before sessions, including charging batteries, packing camera bags, and ensuring SD cards are empty and ready for use. Regular maintenance and care of the equipment are also required to keep gear in optimal condition.

Travel and Logistics: Coordinate with project manager to schedule projects & travel logistics to move efficiently from one property to another within the Myrtle Beach area, ensuring timely arrival and setup for each photo shoot.

Equipment Handling: Comfortable and capable of carrying photography equipment weighing up to 20 pounds across various types of properties and terrains.

Client Interaction: Engage professionally with clients, including homeowners and real estate agents, ensuring their requirements are met and addressing any concerns with empathy and solutions-focused attitude.

Self-Transportation: Able to provide your own reliable transportation to navigate between shoot locations efficiently. Mileage and travel time will be considered in scheduling and compensation.
